THIRD PERSON PUZZLE GAME SET IN A ROBOT FACTORY
END OF BACHELOR STUDY GROUP PROJECT
CONCEPT
The player takes the role of an invincible robot who can use dangerous elements such as fire, freezing cold temperatures or huge amounts of electricity in order to gain different abilities (run faster, jump faster, freeze water in order to walk on it...)
PROJECT GOALS
As a team of 6 students (+3 others for the general art related to the project such as character design), we had to develop a Vertical Slice of a video game using Unreal Engine 4 within 3 months. This project aimed to give us a glimpse of what a real production in a studio would look like on a small scale project.
MY ROLES
During the development phase, I had the opportunity to work on multiple aspects of the project.

GAME DESIGNER : Creation and writing of documents related to the game design such as the 3C , OCR Loops, Game System...

LEVEL DESIGNER : Level Blockout, programming of level events.

LEVEL ARTIST : Use of different assets, sounds, textures... in order to give life to a level.

TECHNICAL DESIGNER/PROGRAMMER (VISUAL SCRIPTING) : Programming of the project (character's abilities, programming related to level events...) using Unreal Engine's Blueprint.

SOUND DESIGNER : Research, mixing, and integration of sounds according to the project needs.
